We're overjoyed to reach out to you today with some incredibly exciting news! We're thrilled to announce that the physical hardback book is now ready for order through our print-on-demand partner, DriveThruRPG.
To make ordering the physical book as seamless as possible, you will have received an email from DriveThruRPG with a link at the bottom that will automatically add the book to your cart at cost ($35.58 + tax and shipping). Simply click the link, and you're one step closer to holding The Menagerie in your hands! If you aren't interested in a physical copy you can ignore this email.
But that's not all—because you've been such incredible supporters of our project, we've also shared a link to unlock the PDF version of the book on DriveThruRPG for FREE! We want to ensure that accessing The Menagerie is as convenient as possible for you, whether it's for your next gaming session or to dive back into the world of The Menagerie at any time.
Please be on the lookout for two separate emails from DriveThruRPG that we've just sent out. One contains the link to purchase the physical book at cost, and the other includes the link to unlock the PDF for free. In our testing, we found that these emails may have landed in the "promotions" tab in Gmail, so be sure to check there as well as your spam folder for the links. The subject line of the email should read "Your copy of The Menagerie: The Elwood Chronicles from DriveThruRPG.com" if you want to search for it.
For any backers at the $199 Sand Worm collectors edition level receiving a signed copy of the book, they will be mailed out to you directly in about a month. No action is needed for you to get a copy.

Physical book update

Happy new year adventurers! We wanted to drop by and give you a quick update on the physical book.
We got our first proof in hand just after the holidays and they look fantastic. In the meantime we have been working with the publisher on a few minor print issues and making corrections in the source files. We appreciate the feedback everyone has given us on the PDF we delivered and made a few corrections to the final print version of the book based on that feedback, most notably standardizing the placement of the challenge rating in the monster stats. We will publish an updated and final PDF for everyone that matches the print version once we finalize and confirm all changes look good.
A corrected and final version of the book has been sent to the printer and we expect to have the final proof in hand in early February. If this final proof looks good like we expect it will, it would mean sending out the discount codes for the physical book at cost by the end of February. We will be back with another update then with more details on the codes.

The Book is Here!
Hello, brave adventurers! Today marks a momentous occasion, as we proudly present the PDF of our book, a labor of love years in the making. This epic journey, filled with its fair share of challenges and triumphs, wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering support and patience. We extend our deepest gratitude to each one of you for accompanying us on this incredible adventure.
To dive into the realm we've crafted together, please visit your BackerKit account, where the PDF awaits. Additionally, keep an eye on your email inbox (and possibly the junk folder, just in case) for a direct link from BackerKit for easy access. For those of you that have downloaded models on MyMiniFactory, we will also make the PDF available there.
What's Next?
Physical Book
With the digital version of our book now complete, our next exciting step is to bring it to life in physical form. We're in the process of arranging for a test print to ensure that every color and piece of artwork is perfectly represented, just as we envisioned. This process may require up to three revisions to achieve perfection, with each revision taking approximately three weeks to complete.
With this iteration cycle we aim to have the final version ready for ordering through our partner, DriveThruRPG, by the end of January. This includes distributing discount codes for you to order the book at cost. If all goes according to plan, you should have the physical book in your hands by the end of February if you choose to order a physical copy.
For our backers who opted for the Sand Worm Collector's Edition, which includes a signed copy of the book, we anticipate these special editions to be ready for you in late February or early March.
Missing Minis or Physical Critical Fail Book
The overwhelming majority of the miniatures for our $99 and $199 tier backers were shipped back in the spring. However, we recognize that a small group of backers, who submitted their surveys a bit later, are still awaiting their minis. Our focus was intensely set on finalizing the book, which meant a temporary pause in our mini printing and shipping operations.
If you are among those still anticipating your miniatures, we kindly ask you to review your BackerKit account to ensure your selections are finalized. We're gearing up to resume the printing and shipping process and are committed to getting all remaining miniatures out to their rightful owners by the end of this year.
Your patience and understanding during this busy period have been invaluable. We're just as excited as you are to see these miniatures in your collections!
